Forest School

We are proud of the fact that all our children take part in the Forest Schools programme. Forest School offers all learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.
During the year each class has the opportunity to take their learning outside into the school grounds, into the village and onto the Knepp Estate. The children learn to use different tools, discover new skills and to work together cooperatively.
Sycamores class spent several weeks moulding, painting and exploding clay volcanoes as part of their Extreme Earth project. Monty made this video to demonstrate what happened.
