For two whole days, Yrs. 3, 4, 5 and 6 were immersed in a variety of tasks linked to their Ice Worlds topic. In the afternoons, they were joined by Year 2. In a truly cross-curricular learning environment, they braved the elements to experience a little of what it was like to be an Antarctic explorer. A wonderful two days was had by all, including the many volunteers who kindly gave up their time.
We've been itching to share our cycling video for some time now - and our new website allows us to do that.
Parents are invited to the service and will be very welcome on the whole school walk down to the church with the children, leaving at 10am. The harvest donations will go to the Chestnut Tree Hospice. Children are asked to bring one of the following to the church: Cake making kits or ingredients for cake making eg. flour, sugar, icing sugar, packets of teabags, small jar of coffee or small bottles of squash, packets of biscuits.
