At Shipley, we want the best for every child. Everything we do is designed to achieve the best outcomes for the children in our care. We strongly believe that all children are entitled to the highest standards of education where there are high expectations and aspirations and a supportive environment in which to flourish. Our experienced and committed team of staff work together to design a curriculum which develops pupils' knowledge and skills and engages and immerses them in connected learning.
We work in partnership with parents and carers to provide a safe, nurturing and inspirational place in which to learn. Friendship Faith and Future underpins the life of the school. It reflects our caring community, Christian character and values. ‘I joined Shipley in 2016 as Headteacher. I love the sense of belonging that exists at Shipley; everyone is part of a supportive and caring family. An exciting curriculum is really important to us, along with opportunities to learn outdoors in our lovely surroundings. I believe learners should be guided and nurtured and be able to deal with successes and failures or mistakes so they can build resilience. A sense of humour and a sense of fun also goes a long way!
