Summer Term - Our topic is:
We are archaeologists - The Egyptians
We will be learning all about ancient civilisations. Geographical formations and map work, including some DT, sewing of a giant map. We will be learning about Pharoahs, pyramids, tombs and Egyptian life.
Spelling and Homework
Homework folders should come home on a Thursday. The spelling books should come to school everyday for in-school practise. Spelling tests are on a Tuesday too and usually take the form of a dictation. I will put the weekly spellings on this page so you always have access to them. Try to encourage the children to learn the spelling patterns, root words and notice how words change for past, present and future. This term there will also be English homework, as well as weekly spellings.
