Our topic this term
This term, our exciting new topic 'By the Seaside' will take us on a journey to explore coastal life and environments. We will discover the different animals that live by the sea, learn how people used beaches in the past, and investigate what lies beneath the ocean’s surface. We will finish our learning this term by becoming ocean heroes, learning how we can protect and care for our local beaches and keep them beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
PE and outdoor learning
PE days are Tuesday and Friday afternoon.
Outdoor Learning is on Monday afternoon.
Home learning
Each Friday, children in Willows Class will bring home a reading book and their yellow letter formation book to practise during the week. Sharing books at home helps build confidence, develop early reading skills, and foster a love of stories, while the letter formation activities support handwriting and fine motor development. We kindly ask that reading books and yellow letter formation books are returned to school the following Friday so we can celebrate your child’s progress and provide new materials.
