Welcome to Shipley

Our supportive, family environment along with high academic expectations allows children to feel valued and flourish under the care of experienced and committed staff.
We are very proud of our lovely school and the children and families within the community. We work in partnership with parents and carers to provide a safe, nurturing and inspirational place in which to learn.

If you require a paper copy of information on our website please contact the school on the number above.
Forest School and learning outside the classroom is an important part of our school week, especially in our rich, natural surroundings. Children in the Early Years are involved in designing their outdoor space and there is a focus on creativity and experiential learning in a safe environment.
The school motto of Friendship Faith and Future  underpins the life of the school. It reflects our caring community, Christian character and focus on helping children to be the best they can be, achieving their full potential.  We are very proud of the rich curriculum and opportunities for meaningful cross-curricular learning. Our whole school topics are selected to inform and inspire the children and deepen their knowledge and skills through quality texts.

Our Vision

We aim to be at the heart of the community. Our shared journey of discovery, knowledge and faith is with God and we celebrate ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10). We strive to ensure that each child becomes a motivated, lifelong learner and unlocks their God-given potential, coping with success and challenge and persevering with determination. Children will be safe and happy in our care and be fully prepared for the next phase of their education.
‘Pupils are excited by their learning and want to do well.... Children learn well in Reception and they develop strong language skills,’
