Dear Sycamore Class & Parents
This term, we are exploring the fascinating world of the Victorians. We will be finding out what life was like during this period, from work and inventions to homes, schools and daily life. We will also be comparing aspects of Victorian life with our own lives today to see how things have changed over time. We will carry out research projects to develop our skills as historians and share our findings with others. Finally, we will use art and design to create Victorian-inspired work that reflects what we have learned. Our class book this term will be the fantastic Malamander by Thomas Taylor. This book is a thrilling seaside mystery packed with adventure, secrets and a touch of magic. It is one of my favourite books! Further details of this term's curriculum can be found below, alongside information regarding the weekly timetable and spellings. Enjoy the autumn term and if you have any queries, please just ask.
