Visit to Knepp

13/10/2021

Picture
Some of our Sycamore pupils visited Knepp this week and were involved in recording a podcast about wildlife and conservation. This is for a radio station called Fun Kids which has some great podcasts for all ages.

The children represented the school brilliantly and had some great questions for Tom, our safari guide.
They also met Kay Hutchinson and Richard Dikstra who are responsible for the Tigeropolis series of books. Richard presented the school with some signed books for us to enjoy.

It was wonderful to welcome parents back into church for our harvest service. It was lovely to see so many children and parents. Governors were very impressed with the participation and behaviour of all the children. Thanks to Rev Chris Allen. The harvest donations will go to Chestnut Tree Hospice.
