Chichester Planetarium
What a fascinating visit to the planetarium. The pupils were full of enthusiasm, knowledge and questions throughout the visit. They handled a meteorite that was over 4.5 billion years old and learned all about the International Space Station. Well done to the Y5/6 netball team who came 3rd in the recent School Games tournament at The Weald. They played well in a series of matches, rotating positions in every game and only conceding one match.
Thank you to Simon and Julia Feakes for inviting the whole school to the farm to see the lambs and calves. We were lucky enough to see a newly born calf take its first steps! It was a very special moment and we were very proud of how respectful the children were, keeping very quiet while it persevered.
Well done to the teams who took part in the Indoor Athletics and basketball events at The Weald this week. They represented the school brilliantly, pushing themselves out of their comfort zones to produce some solid personal performances along with great teamwork. A special mention to the basketball team who came joint second in their event, only one point behind the first place team.
